Relocation is always hectic, to say the least.  With packing, cleaning, dealing with movers (or worse yet, moving yourself!), your stress level can rise to gargantuan proportions - and that's before you even arrive in your new city! 

Not knowing what to expect in your new location is probably more stressful than anything.  The more information you collect in advance that will allow you to do some research and make some pre-move plans, the smoother your transition will be.  Some of the questions you will have may include: 

   What schools are available for my kids? 

   How about daycare providers?

   Who are the largest employers?

   What health care facilities are available in the area?

   I'll need a mortgage; who are the top local companies?

   What are the most prominent banks in the area?

   How close is the airport, and which airlines does it service?
